We are delighted to announce that our Head of Strategy, Damian Proctor, has been recognised by BIMA (British Interactive Media Association) in the CEOs and Leaders category of the BIMA 100.
In BIMA’s own words, the BIMA 100 are “the thought leaders, changemakers, disruptors, and pioneers. They’re established figures within the industry who continue to be at its vanguard. They’re ‘ones to watch’ – new innovators in the chosen digital space who are making everyone else sit up and take notice”.
Judges selected Damian for driving change, pivoting our agency’s proposition and reinvigorating client relationships. He has been highlighted as someone ‘whose outstanding leadership within an organisation has created an environment where their people are genuinely leading the charge in defining the future of our industry’.
Over the last year, Damian has been leading by example by successfully coordinating the definition and delivery of digital strategies for several of our key partnerships. In doing so he has proven the success of a new blueprint for future collaborations.
Alongside this exceptional work with our clients, Damian has recently led Redweb to a new proposition, visual identity and evolved structure that supports this blueprint by reimagining the agency/client relationship as a partner model based on mutual value, disrupting the industry status quo.
The announcement was made at one of digital’s biggest nights of the year, held at London’s OXO Tower on 8 May.
Damian says of the announcement:
“I am immensely proud of what we have achieved as an agency over the last year. For any organisation to significantly shift its value proposition in today’s climate is respectable, but for an agency of our size to move from a model that has served us well for two decades is quite remarkable.
I am grateful for the trust that was placed in my vision and how brave the whole agency has been in embracing a new philosophy. It is extremely satisfying to be playing my part in a connected team who not only know where they are headed but have the drive to get themselves there.”
BIMA Co-President Nat Gross said:
“Tonight is about celebrating the people who are the leading the industry right now. It’s about the people we look up to, the visionary leaders and CEOs that can make our industry a better place. The people with the imagination, technical skill and creativity to take us forward; and the new talent that can keep our sector strong.
“When you look at the people in this year’s 100 – people like Damian - I think we’ve really outdone ourselves.”
