The Interactive Media Council have announced their latest honours list and digital agency Redweb has received an 'Outstanding Achievement' award for the Unite the Union website in the 'Union' category.
The website scored over 95% for design, content, functionality and usability.
The Interactive Media Awards (IMA's) recognise the highest standards of excellence in website design and development and honour individuals and organisations for their exceptional work.
Unite the Union is the largest union in the UK with over 2 million members. It was formed in 2007 as a result of the merger of the T&G and Amicus. Redweb was appointed to address the critical digital needs of the new union. The website now boasts cutting edge online tools to maximise engagement with new and existing members.
Andrew Henning, CEO at Redweb comments, "We have had the pleasure of working with an incredibly forward thinking and customer focused client. The Unite the Union project was a challenging one as we needed to address the individual needs of a very large and varied membership base. We did this by providing a wealth of relevant content and engagement through interactivity with users."
The Interactive Media Awards occur once every quarter and include a wide range of sectors including Lifestyle, Automobile and Medical.
