This new site will improve engagement and interaction with potential attendees, to support the government's objectives for schools.

The new site, designed and built by digital agency Redweb, has a new clearer information architecture with site features that allow the user to decide whether teaching is the right career choice.

These features include video footage from previous events, Google maps functionality to identify your nearest event and online registration for each event. We have also advised on social media tools, so users can share information about the events via Twitter and Facebook.

Kirsty Manning, Face to Face Marketing Manager at the TDA comments: "These events are our largest recruitment driver for new teachers in the UK and we needed an engaging online facility to maximise the potential to reach those looking to enter the teaching profession. We challenged Redweb to build on what we already had and the new site has exceeded all expectations in providing interesting content to attract a greater number of visitors to the site and ultimately, our events."

Darren Diprose, Account Director at Redweb adds: "We have been appointed to develop effective digital strategies to meet the TDA’s objective of using the web as their primary communication tool. This launch is part of the first phase of this information restructuring. We worked closely with the client to produce an aesthetically pleasing site which also met all the user needs."

The TDA is the national body for recruiting and supporting teachers and school staff. Redweb has worked as part of an inter-agency group, including lead creative agency DDB, Draft, Munro and Forster and KLP to ensure consistency of brand messaging across all platforms.
