Digital agency Redweb has won the contract from AA-approved car servicing group Nationwide Autocentres to develop a new online clutch ordering facility.
The move forms part of the car servicing giant’s strategy to be the UK’s leading online car servicing and maintenance company and follows its innovative online price check and booking facility developed by Redweb last year.
The project is a partnership with Unipart which will provide customer data to give online quotes to fit a new clutch (including labour time). Clients can then book their car for a replacement clutch at a branch of their choice.
Marketing manager at Nationwide Autocentres, Pat Dixon, said: “Redweb provides a focused approach to our web activity and the results so far have been impressive - in terms of ROI we made our money back within the first month of trading.
“We are moving more and more across from offline to online strategy. With renewed data capture and e-marketing activity we are also able to be more reactive to trends and be more experimental with testing.”
Redweb’s Dan Hills said: “We are using similar usability and accessibility methods used in the MOT and servicing online quote and booking function to create an equally customer-friendly extra service for clutch replacement.
“It’s not an email to HQ where someone rings you back. The client inputs their car registration and within seconds is provided with a quote. None of its competitors yet offers this levels of online service.”
