Redweb win Electronic Passport Application Contract

Redweb are delighted to have been selected by the United Kingdom Passport Service to take part in the development of the next generation of the online passport application.

The project involves the development of the online forms, full database integration with the new backend system, integrated payment and the creation of on-the-fly document generation for the counter signatory and identification purposes. The final application will be written in .NET and is due for launch after prototyping in the autumn of next year.

Redweb´s Managing Director, Andrew Henning commented, "The award is great recognition for Redweb´s technical ability. The new system will mark a major step for governmental services online and I am pleased Redweb will play its part".
