Redweb is to exhibit at GC 2006, the UK's leading exhibition for ICT in the public sector, to be held at Earls Court June 20-21.
The Poole-based digital communications agency has produced public sector websites for bodies such as the Identity & Passport Service, local authorities around the country, CRB and UKAEA. And it is particularly optimistic about increased public sector work following its success in winning a Catalist framework agreement with OGCbuying.solutions.
Managing director Andrew Henning said: “Many of the leading decision-makers and influencers attend this exhibition to check out the products, services, and inspiration to help meet their targets.
“The UK public sector has seen an unprecedented increase in ICT spend over the past five years. And the advent of the e-government agenda followed by the efficiency programme means that ICT spending is far from abating, it is predicted that over £16bn will be in 2006/07 alone.”
