1837online.com lets family historians see faithfully-scanned images of original documents, enabling them to make informed decisions based upon their own skill, judgement and experience.

Alongside the company re-branding Redweb also produced promotional items such as mouse mats and a poster campaign based on a series of abstract images it developed for the site to indicate family succession.

Redweb designer Tony Hill said: “The site is primarily a huge database for family historians and it needed to be more inviting, simpler to use, faster, more intuitive and allow for wider content through a content management system.”

New additions to the site include guides to starting researching a family tree, FAQ, news and events.

1837online.com grew out of sister company Title Research which has provided probate and succession genealogy services for 40 years to lawyers and corporate and public trustees around the world.
