She joins from Web Sight. Redweb manages a range of multimedia content for clients including Unite, Nationwide Autocentres and E.ON.

Barnard specialised in online marketing and production for campaigns at Web Sight for clients including SAP and Nortel Networks. Her duties ranged from copy writing and coding to content management and reporting. She has a degree in Media with Arts and Design from Exeter University.

Commenting on the appointment, Andrew Henning, CEO of Redweb, explains, ‘This is the first time we have allocated a full-time specialist to this role. Until now, project managers and designers have managed the content but we now feel a more dedicated role is necessary. Content delivery and quality forms a critical component of our work.‘

Angela Barnard, Content Editor at Redweb adds. ‘I enjoyed managing content as part of my role for clients at Web Sight and wanted to step up to a bigger agency to focus on just content. I will put my skills in copy, design and coding to use improving Redweb’s clients’ sites.

The appointment follows a series of hires for Redweb including Harvey Manhood as a Data Analyst and Viji Narasimham as a Web Developer as well as the relocation to new, larger offices in Bournemouth. In March, Redweb was listed as the fiftieth fastest growing digital media company in the UK in the Media Momentum awards.
