Poole-based web developer Redweb has trebled the speed of its clients' sites using groundbreaking new caching techniques it has developed.
Head of development Olly Williams said: "On most database-driven sites when you click on a page the server has to work quite hard to process menus and lists and get the data from the database - which obviously takes time.
“Our clients’ eSolutions websites now only have to do this once as they store the generated pages for subsequent visitors. It has made the sites almost three times as fast as before, which is important as visitors increasingly expect a fast download.”
