Staff at digital communications agency Redweb not only produced a website in connection with this year's Race for Life, they have entered the race too!
Redweb designed and developed the site for Fitness First, which is working with Tesco in support of the Cancer Research UK’s Race for Life 5K events.
It includes training tips and advice to all Tesco customers and forms an extension of in-store activity offering a free personal training service to female Tesco customers looking to sign up to Race for Life events.
The site supplies Fitness First members with full information about Race For Life and how to prepare for the event at various levels.
And it also offers a free Health Check, which covers resting heart rate, flexibility, body composition, lung capacity and blood pressure, plus a free gym pass for a day at any Fitness First gym.
The website is attached to Fitness First’s main website, which Redweb also produced.
Three of Redweb’s staff have entered a local Race for Life event in June.
Race for Life is the UK’s biggest women-only fundraising event and last year over half a million ladies took part and raised a whopping £33 million for Cancer Research.
