As one of our core activities, Redweb have been producing innovative and feature rich e-commerce sites since 1997. In fact, several millions pounds pass through our sites each year.
This level of knowledge and experience has now enabled us to create a more packaged approach to such sites, whilst retaining the flexibility and options required by our customers.
Our new e-commerce modules will appeal to clients requiring sites deemed entry level to others specifying fully integrated solutions. Both benefiting from full content management, proven shopping processes and value added features such as related products and special offers.
However, although marketing as “best practice”, Redweb are keen to stress the individualism that can be maintained for each site. Director Andrew Henning explains, “Our plan in developing the solution was to package the functionality and the areas of an e-commerce site, that a company like Redweb would fully understand such as the basket, CMS and currency control etc. We took this and then made it extremely flexible, allowing our design team to mould and configure the design to compliment any style, brand or image. This gives each client their own site, whilst benefiting from Redweb’s tried and tested experience.”
“In addition, the sites offer a host of features and can accommodate all types of products”. Henning explains “A jumper in colours and sizes presents different issues to a CD. We have worked to allow any product type to be added and mixed and matched if need be. In addition features such as linking related products, special offers, multi-currency, stock control, featured products, multi-images, Postage and Packing variants etc are all there.”
“The sites offer a great deal of flexibility and scalability and can be as simple or as complicated as the client requires.”
