AA-approved car servicing group Nationwide Autocentres has launched online price check and booking for a range of services from MOTs to a full service.
Digital communications agency Redweb developed the process, linking it into pay-per-click campaigns so the conversion from web search to bookings can be measured.
Redweb also integrated a number of affiliate schemes such as Tesco Clubcard and AA membership, so the process calculates the relevant discount as part of the quotation.
The process gives a fixed price and shows the customer’s nearest branch before the booking is made.
Nationwide Autocentres’ Pat Dixon said: “The process allows us to concentrate spend in the right areas, to be more pro-active and drive sales in the online arena. Previously it was difficult to come up with a true estimate of the value of our marketing campaigns.
“I have to say we were taken aback by the demand for online booking; they were flooding in from the first day the process went live.”
