Role reversal at Redweb

There was a new girl in charge at digital agency Redweb this week as designer Louise Regan won the personal assistant services of CEO Andrew Henning as part of a series of fundraising activities for Comic Relief.

Louise enjoyed several privileges for the day including her own office, fresh pastries, tea and coffee on demand, lunch and even having her grocery shopping done!

This was just one of the fun prizes on offer as the agency, based in central Bournemouth, got into the charitable spirit on Red Nose Day.  The team hosted a staff auction, including offers of tea making, car cleaning and beauty treatments, a fancy dress competition and selling homemade treats, to raise a total of £500 for the cause.

Louise said: “I’ve had a lot of fun today and could certainly get used to this!  As soon as I saw this prize I was desperate to win it – Andrew was great and made a wonderful PA today.  And of course it is all for a worthy cause which is even better.”

It made for a colourful office when staff at the agency came to work in a variety of costumes from a 1950s housewife to Harry Potter.  Fancy dress prizes went out to the most creative and bizarre outfits of the day.

Andrew Henning said: “It makes me really proud of the team we have here that everyone threw themselves into the day so enthusiastically and generously with both donations and offers for the auction.  I have even enjoyed today too and Louise certainly got into the character - I am looking forward to getting my desk back tomorrow though!”
