Union giant Amicus has linked its back office and website to allow online membership changes - and has saved itself an average of 250 telephone calls every day!
Digital communications agency Redweb, which produced the website last year after the launch of Amicus, handled the integration and now 1.2 million members can amend their personal information via the website.
Members can also personalise their 'My Amicus' home page to be more relevant to their employment sector.
Redweb will also produce a new facility for new members to join Amicus and pay online - due for launch in late July 2005.
