We now have exciting opportunities for Web Engineers to take technical responsibility for production projects assigned to them by our Senior Developers.
The post will include ensuring the technical quality of production meets client requirements and ISO standards, efficiency of individual output against budget, conformity to any digital brand or strategy as defined by the client or Redweb, ensuring that appropriate communication/updates are provided to the client and colleagues on each project status and performing code reviews and appraising technical aspects of work.
The successful candidate will have:
- Be educated to degree/HND level (incorporating Software Engineering) or have proven relevant experience in architecting, designing and developing web applications.
- Demonstrate an exceptional knowledge of Software Development and RDMS Design.
- Have proven experience in designing and developing web applications.
- The ability to mentor other developers and perform code reviews
- Have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Demonstrate an understanding of the software engineering of web applications in relation to deployment architecture, security and performance.
- Have a thorough working knowledge of:
- Programming with C#.NET (Including 2.0 and 3.5 + Linq and Ajax)
- Object Orientated Design
- N-Tier solution design and development
- HTML and Javascript
- IIS and server management
- SQL Database design and SQL Server Management skills
- XML Technologies
- Requirements elicitation and analysis
- Preparing technical documentation
Experience of working in a Digital Agency environment and experience of working with any of the following content management systems’ is desirable:
- Reddot
- Immediacy
- EpiServer
- SiteCore
