Lead Developers

We have exciting opportunities for Lead Developers to take overall responsibility for production projects assigned to them by our Senior Developers.

The post will include ensuring the quality of production meets client requirements and ISO standards, efficiency of individual output against budget, conformity to any digital brand or strategy as defined by the client or Redweb and that appropriate communication/updates are provided to the client and colleagues on each project status.

The successful candidate will have:

  • Been educated to degree/HND level (incorporating Software Engineering) or have proven relevant experience in developing web applications and leading development projects
  • An ability to demonstrate a high level knowledge of Development and RDMS Design
  • Proven relevant experience in developing web applications using Microsoft ASP.NET and C#
  • Evidence of project responsibility from conception to completion
  • Experience of liaising with clients and key stakeholders
  • Experience of successful team leadership and mentoring
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • A thorough working knowledge of:
    • Programming with C#.NET and ASP.NET
    • Object Orientated Design
    • HTML and Javascript
    • IIS & Server Management
    • SQL Database design and SQL Server Management skills
    • XML Technologies
    • Requirements elicitation and analysis
    • Preparing technical documentation

Experience of working in a Digital Agency environment and experience of working with any of the following content management systems is desirable:

  • Reddot
  • Immediacy
  • EpiServer
  • FatWire
