We have a challenging opportunity for a Data Manager responsible for coordinating Redweb’s data analysis and associated research and reporting activities.
This role provides key support to the new business, search, usability and account teams providing accurate, timely and relevant information for their diverse requirements.
You will be expected to:
- Assume full responsibility for Redweb‘s data analysis, research output and reporting function
- Understand the information needs, the business objectives and the market sectors of clients and implement appropriate data analysis strategies
- Oversee the quality of data analysis, research output and reporting undertaken to ensure it meets the specified requirements
- Contribute to tender responses and proposals
- Provide feedback to the new business, search and account teams regarding client development opportunities
- Build strong relationships with clients and potential clients at a variety of levels
- Coordinate the work undertaken by the data analysis team and take responsibility for team training and development
- Identify opportunities to improve the data analysis team’s service and output
- Make recommendations for process improvements
Based in our Bournemouth office, the successful candidate will:
- Be able to demonstrate extensive experience working in a similar role
- Have strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Demonstrate a working knowledge of practices and opportunities across the digital spectrum and in particular those applicable to clients’ requirements
- Have proven experience managing a team
- Demonstrate relevant experience in understanding data analysis and research functions
- Provide evidence of responsibility for proposals or tenders from conception to completion
- Have in-depth knowledge of data quality measurements methodology and reporting tools
- Show good knowledge of current statistical methods and data analytic software coupled with a solid understanding of appropriate data sources
