We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced and highly skilled Business Development Manager to join our team.
You will run the sales process from start to finish, having overall responsibility for the new business pipeline, including lead generation and filtering, pitches/proposals, forecasting and reporting.
The role has a London focus and responsibilities include:
- Generating premium client contacts and sales leads
- Organising, producing and conducting pitches and presentations
- Working with marketing to generate appropriate new leads and ensuring all sales outputs are on brand
- Generating revenue from new clients to achieve predetermined sales targets
- Attending networking and industry events and create a network of influential and high-profile contacts in line with Redweb’s business objectives
- Speaking at industry events
- Reviewing and contributing to tender responses and proposals
- Monitoring the activity of Redweb’s London-based competitors.
The successful candidate will:
- Demonstrate proven successful experience in similar role (in a corporate and/or public sector environment)
- Be able to assess the commercial viability of digital solutions
- Be capable of defining and understanding complex digital solutions
- Be used to working in a fast-moving environment where ability to deliver is paramount
- Have high level communication and organisational skills
- Demonstrate superior attention to detail
- Have proven experience of winning projects with minimum values of £250K
- Be a logical thinker with a good commercial understanding of risk assessment
- Have experience of negotiating for a win-win outcome.
