You will:
- Provide strong leadership, direction and motivation to our account management team
- Act as single point of accountability for clients
- Be a strategic partner to clients in their digital activity
- Understand opportunities and challenges of clients markets
- Have a thorough knowledge of emerging technologies and digital trends and understand how these will affect clients
- Run creative ideas sessions with account teams and client teams
- Generate project and creative briefs
- Oversee and ensure the quality of client deliverables, e.g. timely, on budget, on brand, on strategy and to defined standards
- Seek opportunities for additional revenue within existing key accounts
- Look to secure annualised contract relationships (retainer)
- Build excellent relationships at a variety of client levels
Based in our Bournemouth office, the successful candidates will have:
- BA degree or substantial experience in account management in an agency environment
- Strong digital media and online marketing background
- Significant client experience with primary accountability for peer-level client relationships
- Previous experience of working on sizable digital accounts
- Experience of design and UX as well as campaign creation and management
- Experience in leading teams with multiple discipline representation (technology, creative and planning)
- Strong commercial awareness and selling/negotiation skills
- Experience of preparing and writing written proposals and presentations
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Experience in managing creative marketing campaigns.
